Below are the following expectations for our weekly homework assignments.

Please ensure your child is completing one assigned math worksheet each night to strengthen their skills each day.

Each day 5th graders should be reading a minimum of 20 minutes per day, and completing their reading log with a parent signature. This log will be handed in each Friday morning.

Students will be assigned 4 spelling or vocabulary activities each week. They may choose from the provided word work menu listed on Google Classroom. All spelling activities should be handed in each Friday.

Students will complete a quiz each Friday on their spelling or vocabulary words for the week.
*In the event your child is struggling to complete an assignment, we ask that they write a short note on the page indicating where they are struggling, so we can continue to support them on these skills in the classroom.
