Hello and welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!


A little bit about me:
I attended the University of Maryland and earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I attended Johns Hopkins University and earned my Master's Degree in Reading. 

An important program that I use to support struggling readers is an Orton Gillingham (OG) approach to teaching spelling and reading. "OG Support" is a multisensory, kinesthetic, and interactive approach to teaching spelling and reading. Using a multisensory approach to teaching reading and spelling allows more pathways to the brain to connect to words and spoken language. Students in kindergarten and first grade who qualify as needing additional support, have multisensory instruction woven into their lessons.
